Yes, once again our Entertainments Secretary has held a brilliant Christmas Lunch in the City Bar for 2010…

Once again Lawson was “mine host” at the CIty Bar, proving an excellent meal for our Christmas lunch.  Brilliantly organised once again by Roy and Ruth Eagles, it was another great day.  How he organised the first “Beating of the Blues” in the top flight since Dave was in short trousers only he knows, but it certainly put everyone  in a celebratry mood.  While Stoo lounged near a Caribbean beach, Stef welcomed our guests Dave “Waggy” Wagstaffe and Val,  “Lofty” Phil Parkes and Merlyn.

Roy surprised us all with a most entertaining and mystifying magician, Ed Sumner, who managed to fool everybody and had Phil O’C tied up in rubber bands, while training an apprentice.   Ed’s bemusing tricks are in the second picture gallery here and in this picture is bamboozling Waggy (with Mark Feehan)
